Legal aid - Divorce How long does it take

    Hi , just wondering if anyone has got a divorce through legal aid ? And if do how long did it take ?

    I applied in June 2009 , no complications , straightforward , and still not over.
    I have to keep ringing if I want anything done ! And I m sick doin that .

    I have now lost all confidence in solicitor because he never even knows what I m talking about because there's such a time between everything.

    If it's normal do be it but 5 yrs ???

    What exactly did you apply for? Legal aid? Or did you start divorce proceedings?

    In 2009, how long had you and your ex been living apart?

    I started divorce proceedings in June 2009 and we were apart 5 yrs at that stage
