    I am looking to advice on how to complete my own planning application for an external shed. has anyone done this without an architect?

    Yes, not very difficult, you may not even need planning if it satisfies certain conditions i.e. is adjacent to your home, is to be used as a garage and is under 25m2 as far a I remember..

    What size shed do you plan on building? And where will it be located?
