Anyone else's FB acting odd lately?

Mine won't show recent posts any more - not even my own.

The odd one pops up, but next time it refreshes it reverts to stuff about a week old -even if I've commented on the one that briefly appeared. It's particularly obsessed today with stuff from 12th April for some reason.

First world problem, but very annoying!

Anyone else experience this, or know what's going on?

Nope, have checked that. Clicked on top posts a couple of days ago and it took me bloody ages to find how to reset it to recent posts! Definitely, 100% surely set on recent posts.

Ok, next step is to clear the browser cache.
Google how to clear browser cache for whatever browser you're using.
Then try again.

I've found that some posts are just disappearing.

Did that. (what exactly have I done )

There seems to be more posts alright - but some from today, none at all from yesterday (and I posted a few photographs yesterday so surely they should be showing, if nothing else???) and then some from two days ago. Haven't gone back further than that. It's very hard to identify what isn't there, IYKWIM!

I'm working on the assumption that "most recent stories" actually means what it says - that it will show all posts on your newsfeed working back from now. Maybe that's an incorrect assumption? But I'm pretty sure that's what it used to do before.....

and......

I've just hit "refresh", and I now have one post from 5 hours ago, and after that we're back to 12th April ones.

Something momentous must have happened in FB on 12th April, if that's all they're allowing to be shown on newsfeeds

So clearing the cache doesn't seem to have done the trick.

.... and now it's showing a few posts from today (3, maybe?) and a load of stuff from 14th April that I've never seen before. And below that "there are no more posts to show" or words to that effect.

I think I give up!

I can access my profile page and groups but not my facebook home page. I cannot log in using new password. Have i a virus or is facebook having problems?

Mine seems to be back to something approaching normal today.

Mine is freezing any time I use the search facility - I enter a few letters and the whole browser locks up. Seems to be a bug in Firefox 28 from what I'm reading online.

I spoke too soon - or else jinxed it. Gone doolally again.

I solved the problem by upgrading to latest browser in my case internet explorer 9. Facebook all clear now.
