Hey peps, I have a second interview with a company who provide IT tech support for small to medium business's.
The interview is a technical interview that will be over the phone and will require me to log on to some test server to carry out some tasks.
What do you think I will be asked, I'm a graduate btw and the company are aware of this

You might get asked to add objects or users to Active Directory, or say add a user to the remote desktop users group things like that, have a look at mmc.exe, > add snap-in > Local Users and Groups
Add a computer to the domain etc

    Good luck with it. :)

You might be quizzed about causes for slow logins for Roaming Profiles also.

id say cover all the basics for active directory anyway, how to add the users to a group, login script, home folder, reset password etc

maybe how to create a mailbox in exchange as well

As long as you don't delete system32 you should be fine.

Seems strange that an MSP would put you through these lengths though.

Yeah I though so too, although they said not to worry about it to much as they just want to see what level I'm at for training proposes, so we'll see.
Anyway the interview is at 3.30 and I've been told it will last 30-45 mins

It went OK I think, lasted for about an hour, it was very relaxed and in regards to Server 2008 all I was asked was to create a user/ou/group policy and how many domain controllers were there in the system.
I handled that all OK, he did ask me about my firewall experience of which I have none and also a bit about DNS.
So we'll see I guess should know by Monday/Tuesday,
Thanks for all the help peps
