Where to watch Boxing in Limerick

Hi guys, I am asking on behalf of a friend who has a big interest in boxing, be it amateur or professional. I know Limerick has a number of boxing clubs, do any of these host events open to the general public ? Where would I go to find details of upcoming bouts or events.
