Yep, if work doesnt get in the way.
No millstreet this year so it should be pretty large.
Il either have the 6/110 or my 100A if I get time to service it!

Been there for last 2 yrs. a good day out if the rain stays away, hopefully will have my Merc 280 CEW. I think it is free entry if you wish, but as it is a charity fundraiser, I am sure a small donation is appreciated. It is really up to the person themselves. I personally feel local causes should be supported, by some few euro.

Yes I agree, it is free entry but they do ask for a donation. I have no problem giving a donation, I only have an issue with show that DEMAND an entry fee.

Not much of a difference I guess but no cars no show so I think it shouldn't be expected that entrants pay.

Great show today, much bigger than last year I would have thought? Pity the modified stuff took pride of place.

I enjoyed it despite Sean's MAN making my 101 look small!

Certainly looked like a good turnout of both exhibits and paying public and was well marshalled. I thought the tractors and trucks wouldn't get much attention being well off to one side but there were still plenty of punters around and asking questions.

Spotted your MAN (and ACMAT) at Durrow Sean....impressive!
What length is the truck and trailer combined?

what class of license do you need for it?

    E+C (Artic) licence.
That combo is know as a 'wagon and drag' in the haulage industry.

That particular combo must be 'challenging' to drive due to the A-frame
drawbar (as opposed to most such trailers having two axles in the centre
of the trailer and a solid drawbar).

I've always wondered why Ireland puts the cart before the horse and I see now that they have finally put it the right-way-round (probably due to the 3DLD and having all member states singing from the same hymn sheet)

I was in the cab of that and had a real good look over it, lovely truck with only 6000km on the clock, probably reserve stock kept in dry storage. Sean (Panhard PL) reckons the trailer is great to tow but it must be interesting to shunt.

British Army have just bought hundreds of the current version of the MAN HX in 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 versions.

The immaculate Guy J4 cattle truck and trailer were was there, he had to a bit of reversing and shunting to get out which was well done.

Great show and a brill turnout both by exhibitors and punters. Pity about the boy racer crap though. Weather played a big part also.

Miserable effort in the autojumble though. Unless you liked track suits...

Don't think it was aimed at autojumble punters at all, not advertised on their publicity material as such, the trackies were prob for the benefit of the boy racer clientele.
