Insuring a Car after a Break in Driving.

My sister is going to look at a car tomorrow. She has been off the road about 18 months. She has got a quote from 123.ie and is happy enough with it. Should she do a deal on the car, what is the deal with insurance? She calls 123.ie, finalises the insurance details and is good to go?

Sorry, but not been in this position before. Thanks all.
