Could only find threads for adults visiting Dublin so sorry for starting a new one!
I have a 5 yr old boy and nearly 2 yr old girl and we're thinking of heading to Dublin on Fri 25th to Sun 27th April.
Will probably visit the zoo but after that would appreciate any suggestions for things to do. Have no hotel booked yet but we have a car so no problems travelling a bit.
Also any suggestions for family friendly restaurants, money saving tips etc!!
    Thanks in advance!

I was going to sugges Pirates Village in Liffey Valley or Swords, but the 2 year old might be too small for it (http://www.piratesvillage.ie/)

    Also Adventure World in Tallagth.

Tayto Park is not too far out and has gotten good reviews.

I would highly recommend Imaginosity in Sandyford especially for your kids age group. I brought my 2 year old there for the first time last year and she absolutely loved it (brought her back for her birthday :D). Even better is that that kelloggs are running an offer on this at the moment, the offer is also open to Dublin Zoo and a load of other attrations.

EDIT: I just noticed that the kelloggs vouchers wont work on the days you will be in Dublin. I'd still highly recommend it though!!

Thanks for all the replies but my 2yr old was sick so we didn't get to Dublin - hopefully get away in May instead!
