old rads/immersion tank/oil boilder (can i get scrappage or just skip them?)

hi all,

i have 8 old rads (house is 1976 build), copper (i think) immersion tanks and Firebird oil boiler.

Can i get any money back or are they fit for the skip?

They have a scrap value.But scrap price for steel is around €200 per tonne you probly have about €20-€40 worth.
Check out your nearest scrap dealer and see there

Metal scrap / recycling yard will give you some money.
€30 to €40 aprox for oil boiler & rads
I don't know what the going rate for copper cylinder is these days.
But somebody here will.

€3.60 a kilo in Oranmore scrap yard...dirty fecker docked me 30 kilos for "dirty" copper. :mad: very fecking :mad:
