'Test' pills found at Paris roubaix: unnamed crashed rider

Cycling fans at Worthing-based vetinary practice company Thames Medical triggered their inner detectives after riders in the peloton fell near them on the approach to a cobbled sector halfway through the race.

CW understands that the vial came out of the back pocket of a heavily-ripped jersey, and no team personnel made any attempt to pick it up after helping their rider rejoin the action.

The vial suffered damage after being run over by a vehicle in the race convoy.

It's much more likely that a top athlete in a sport where everyone is on some kind of supplements (and has a huge history of doping) had the vial in their pocket and was taking the pills during a ~6 hour race. It would be interesting to know what the pills are.

It's defo not a Sky rider, as some other forums have hinted, they would never be that amateurish!

I reckon the label didn't say "Test", it said "Intestinal Worming Tablets" but some of the letters were lost in the fall.
