I bought my house in the last week of December 2012 but didnt move into the house as a lot of work had to be done,(insulation, new windows, heating system and kitchen). I was pregnant and moved in with my parents until work was complete. DOes this have any impact on LPT? I only ask because a friend seems to think im exempt as I didnt live in house until March 2013?

    Appreciate any feedback.

it's based on purchase date i believe
so no, you wouldnt qualify for an exemption from lpt ....

If the house was already habitable in Dec 2012, then you wouldn't be exempt. If it wasn't habitable then you would be.
