Dodgy car service ad on Newstalk

I'm trying to track down an ad I heard on Newstalk sometime over the winter (possible for winter car service but not sure.) The gist of the ad is customer goes to local garage and gets terrible customer service, garage man is very busy, has loads of work on, can't tell customer when he'll have time to do the job. The customer goes to Company X garage (Skoda service maaaybe) and has a fantastic customer experience.

I'm trying to track this down for a customer service project I'm working on. Anyone remember it?

    thanks

Just give their Advertising Department a ring - they should be able to sort you out.

It was about exact price estimates for servicing/repairs IIRC

    It was the skoda ad.

Not for any particular dealer, the last part rotates each time to name a different dealer.

Thanks all for the replies. I had been in touch with Newstalk already but my info was a it too vague. With this additional detail, they might be able to help. Anyone remember when the ad ran? I know it was a few months back but was it before Christmas?

    Cheers

TBH I thought it was more recent than that.

The irony of that one is that the skoda service didn't cover items like fuel filter, pollen filter, spark plugs etc - items that any half decent mechanic wouldn't assume you don't need

Don't get me started. Completely off topic but my sister was told yesterday that BMW timing chain replacement under approved used warranty scheme does not include oil and coolant @ approx. €200!
