The local agri merchant told me the same thing said the ingredients are exactly the same, but most lads believe the marketing and insist on using the winter dip in winter and summer dip in summer. I usually use cyper guard but this year I tried hygeia summer dip and didnt see any problems yet.

Have some ewes that are losing a good bit of wool, was going to dip them as i used noromectin earlier in the year and didn't seem to have much effect, met a neighbour who said not to dip as it could hurt the ewes tits when they have young lambs.

Anyone have experience dipping at this time of year with lambs at foot?

On the topic, asked at co-op and was also told that summer and winter dip are the exact same.

pointless dipping now if its only woolbreak however if they are showing signs of mange its a different matter, I have a few losing wool but not scratching happens a few every year. More a nuisance than anything else
