Mk1 Focus - problem with indicator lights

I've a '99 Focus, 1.6 Ghia. 106k on the clock and she's running sweet as a nut apart from one problem with the indicator lights.

When I zap it to activate the central locking the indicator lights flash twice. However, the front and back indicator lights on the right hand side remain stuck on. Thereafter, it takes between 5 and 10 mintues of turning the central locking on and off, starting and turning off the car and playing with the indicator/hazard switches before the right hand lights will turn off.

Obviously, this would be a show stopper if I didn't notice the lights stuck on and left the car for a few hours so I've stopped using the central locking completely. I accidently zapped it last night and spent 15 mins trying to get the lights to go out!

Any ideas of what could be the problem - fuses, wiring, moisture?

    Thanks:)
