Insuring a car while licence is gone for renewal.

    I am in the process of renewing my licence AND buying a car. Only the mighty Thor knows how long it will take to get my new licence.

    So can I insure a car when I'm awaiting a licence? I still have my driver number and the receipt and all that.

    It would be a good idea to tell them too, I had problems myself last year as Id moved to a new insurer who wanted to see my licence before they would insure me past the initial 30 days. I sent them off the receipt from NDLS and that was ok til the licence arrived.

    Also, I had an accident back in 2009 and I need to get some details on it. I was insured with Quinn but I don't think they exist anymore. Who do I contact to get info?
