Treated Red Deal - What to coat with now?

My husband made a play house for our children out of treated red-deal and slated it etc it has looked great all last year. However with storm weather this winter, one side of the house has discoloured a bit.

Is there something I can put on it, to bring back the fresh colour a bit this summer?

    Thanking You

You will probably never restore weathered timber completely but something like pine coloured Sadolins stain will spruce it up and protect it.

Depending on how bad you feel it looks, why not paint it in an exterior paint? Yellow or blue (or both depending on your county!) might look brilliant on a play house.

Other than that, maybe sand it back and treat it again with an (exterior) stain - and an exterior varnish afterwards. But it may, as recipio suggests, never look the same as the other sides.

If you know what it was treated with, it might help with other suggestions?
