fishing tips for mount Shannon??

    Hi lads
    Not a regular poster on the angling forum

    But me and 2 mates are heading to mount Shannon to fish lough derg
    Plans are to stay for a fishing weekend
    Rent out a boat etc
    Not pushed on what kind of fish we go after but any one have any helpful tips or advice for fishing there?
    Anything appreciated
