BMW 5 series. E60 wiper install. Which way round

    I have a BMW e60 2006 5 series

    The wipers are different lengths.

Currently on the car, the 23 inch one is on the driver side. And the 24 inch one is on the passenger side. However, looking online, it seems that it should be the other way round.

Maybe the previous installer just installed them wrong.

Can anyone confirm if the long one should be on the driver or passenger side ?

Didnt bmw use the same wiper setup for LHD and RHD cars? Passenger side could be either side depending, so don't take the web as gospel.

Longer one is passenger side, one annoying aspect of the 5's is that they didn't swop the wiper system over when adopting for UK and Ireland.

Thanks. How do you mean about uk and Ireland , adopting what. ( both RHD cars etc )

The wipers should really wipe the other way round, but they didn't bother making the RHD ones different.

So for a right hand drive car, the longer wiper should be on the passenger side ??
