Wise choice as often the plastic rollers are damaged and the outer cable rusted

The regulator kit I fitted lasted 4 years and car was sold on with it working

the first window I did took me about 90 mins to fit but the 2nd window took me 1/2 that time as I knew what I was doing.

After you replace the regulator the car has to learn where the fully up position is

you wind the window up fully and keep the up button held for more than 5 sec.

Fitted that regulator today. The quailty of it is excellent. The plastic parts looked to be alot stronger than the renault bits I took out. Handy enough job to do, under 2 hours all in to fit it and I've never done one before.

The glass is still sticking down towards the bottom though. The door might be a bit warped I think. It's not too bad.

maybe some silicone spray/grease needed in window glides makes it glide easier.

tried that with no joy. It goes down fine. It's just coming up the fist 8 inchs from the bottom it's jamming a bit at the sides.

not setup correctly me thinks some regs are slightly adjustable to allow straight up and down movement and when going to the top is lobsided.

I was thinking earlier, maybe some spacers on the bottom would line it up better. There's no oblong holes or anything like that on it.

Pulled off the door card again the other day for a look as it was still sticking. Had just about given up when I noticed if you pulled up the switch just short off fully it wound up back up smoothly. Took the switch apart for a look couldn't see anything obvious but everything worked perfectly when I put it back together :).

Would highly recommend the ebay seller(carspares-direct) above now!
