Hi, would anybody have an idea of any organisations that offer supported accommodation for people with learning disabilities? And mental health issues?

Also it would need to be in Wicklow?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance.

Cluid and the Peter McVerry Trust help with housing people with mental health issues,- the Peter McVerry trust housed a friend of mine in a lovely 1 bed but he was in a mental health high support hostel for several years waiting for a place. They are great, gave him staggered support in the first 2 years so now he lives independently.

AFAIK Cluid have homes out near wicklow, and the PMVT have apts all over Dublin & surrounding counties.

Your best bet though is to go through the Social Work/Consultant/ Community Psych Nurse route. As I have tried recently to get accom for another friend in need of supportive housing and this was the reccommended route.
