    Hi all,

So my samsung Galaxy S4 fell into water. It was removed and dried and for the past 2 months has been working most of the time.

I decided since the warranty was damaged and it was randomly restarting I would install Cyanogenmod 11. It looks good and works mostly however it restarts when I'm playing a game... so I figure the main board is probably damaged.

I'm just wondering what the best course of action is. Can I send the phone back to Meteor and get them to repair it? I know that a mainboard is 150euro and I feel this will fix the phone.

Or would I be better off selling the phone as a "Water Damaged Galaxy S4"?

Hmm, you could try a new battery first. It more than likely is water damage to the motherboard causing the problem, but IF it's the battery it'll only cost you €15 instead of €150.

Whether you get the motherboard replaced depends on if you're happy with the s4? Are you willing to double down, or do you want to cut your losses and try something different?

Hi Simi, I appreciate you replying to this post. I will try a new battery as I have a spare GS4. I would like to be rid of the two GS4's I guess. So with that in mind I am not sure weather to fix it then sell it or just to sell it as damaged. It works fine until I push it to a limit when playing games.
