    i read its supposed to be announced may or june so i guess it would make sense to wait, anyone know what the main advantages would be besides price:D

    Upgrades such as improved camera, battery, screen and latest version of Android can be expected however the Nexus 7 will get upgraded to the same Android version shortly after launch.
    New potential features like finger print readers, additional cameras for motion detection, etc won't be known until launch.

    I own the current Nexus 7 and very happy with it but as Google's I/O isn't that far away and if you're not in a rush you may as well wait and see what the upgrade brings. Should be easier to get it when it launches due to the Google Play Store now in Ireland unlike previous years.
