Can you get Slates Professionally cleaned

    I would love to get the slates on our house professionally cleaned.

    Our house is only approx 9-10 years old and the slates are very good quality 'Tegral' and our roofer at the time done an excellent job, we've never had a problem with a slate on the house!

    However I have notices that in certain areas of the roof,

    - there seems to be moss like building around the slates, close to a dormer window and also the rear velux windows.

    - Also there is a slight discolouring on the cappings down along......

    Just wondering if it possible to get them cleaned professionally. I don't mind paying for a good service. I hate the thoughts of it getting worse over time.

    I am looking for the same service. Two year ago I got a roofer to apply mosgo and powerhose the algae but it is back as bad as ever now. Out house is 8 years old but is north facing. there are so many cowboys out there so it is a minefield trying to find someone that has insurance and is reputable.

    I paid 350 euro for something I prob could have done myself.
