Guy I took the glove box out of my 05 Octavia today. Broke the light can't get that back together complicated ****ing thing.

Anyway putting the glove box back in I noticed on the center console the light for airbag off was on.

I turned the key in the box a few times and noting. So out with the glove box and there was a problem with the connection.

I had to disconnect the switch to fix it and I. Thur the " airbag off " light was flashing. Connected the switch back up the "airbag off " light turn off and I fitted the glove box back in. Now on the warning lights on the dash the airbag light is on do I need it connected to the machine to turn it off. I presume its on because I disconnected and reconnected the switch in the glove box.

Any advice on turning it off guys thanks.

Had you the battery disconnected when you plugged out the switch? If no, that's why airbag light is on in dash.

You'll need diagnostic equipment to turn it off.

post the county your in and someone here might be able to help
