2.0tdi seems sluggish

    Have a12 caddy. 2.0 tdi. When going down a hill in forth gear about 1800 rpm and just keeping that throttle position it seems to hold back as in if I let off completely it would feel to run on as normal (ie pick up speed going down a hill) but if a keep the rev the same you would almost feel like an exhaust brake is holding you back ever so slightly. Also seems to be maybe a second delay in planting the boot and power. It's 140bhp. Thanks for reading. Oh had it on vdms or what's its name and no faults logged

    could be just the turbo holding back because of how much your pressing the pedal.

    e.g the turbo if you press lightly doesnt make pressure, only when its boosting it makes go fast,

    see this image for example turbo-boost-performance-gauge-dial-52mm-385-p.jpg

    so when you lightly press the pedal it goes minus but when you press harder it begins to boost to + pressures.
