Hi I am thinking of booking a self catering house in Clifden in the month of October for my sisters hen party. There is a group of 30 of us, I'm just wondering what clifden is like at this time of year and if there are any traditional pubs or activites available there? Thanks :)

Clifden would be very quite that time of the year, there would be a few pubs that would have music. If you were expecting a nightclub you are out of luck as it closed a few years ago.

Try the October bank holiday weekend or it's dead after. You have Delphy adventure center to keep ye entertained on Saturday. Try the Station House Hotel apartment's.
