Recommendations for a birthday present sought

A friend's birthday is coming up. As an urban dweller he's got quite an issue with rural conversation/attitudes and can be quite disparaging ( in a harmless way). Can anyone recommend a relevant book ( perhaps satirical) or other present? Thanks in advance
