If you had long, fine, real-fine, silky soft hair and would like to change the Style - What style would you choose? Feel free to post images if you like.

I'm changing my hair-style this coming week, but style is yet to be finalised by me, just know it will change.
I've really silky-soft, fine, long straight hair - not even a kink or weave, or curl to be found anywhere.

    I'm leaning toward
    ~ a fringe (can't decide whether a side subtle one or full right across forehead fringe;
~ with layers (can't decide if major layers or more subtle)

Yes, I am un-decided on style. If you have any suggestions, or images, or experience, feel free to share.

Oh I do know I'm keeping the length, just getting a trim as I'm getting used to this length and have more options with same :)

    Many Thanks,
    kerry4sam

I'd go with a fringe with layers that can blend in with your hair, a blunt fringe is unforgiving and can make the most beautiful of faces look harsh. With your fine hair, a layered fringe will also give a subtle wave or "movement" as my hairdreser calls it.

Anyway, you are starting out with fantastic hair in the first place, you lucky thing, so be sure to go in with a strong idea of what you want, and like you mentioned pics are even better.

Wow, we both have the same type of hair and I want to change as well! I am going to my hairdresser on Saturday. I don't want it cut short or anything but I want my hair to look different. I was going to ask her to cut plenty of layers in.

    ^^^

Thanks for your replies! Walked in there today after work and tbh I am not quite sure what I actually asked for! Mentioned fringe; mentioned keeping my length and we kinda just went with that :)

Anywhoo, she was lovely and we spent a wee bita time moving my hair around to see different looks and styles. She kinda knew I wasn't sure what my ultimate aim was.

Now have a lickle fringe (first fringe since my Communion-days of 7-years-auld!) and layers shaping my face; received a trim also so kept my length.

I am pleased today with this change in style. Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow I'll still be pleased as twil be some time before my fringe grows out.

    Thanks again,
    kerry4sam

/I can clip it to the side and the fringe is not as blunt as some I have seen on others so workable in varying ways for me :) No regrets!
