Hi Folks... Does anyone know if there are any kind of 'scrappage deals' going on at the moment? I know the official one is well gone, but I've seen dealers doing similar deals since off their own bat - but can't find any at the moment. Am based in Dublin, but usually they're not dealer-specific as far as I can tell, just brand-specific. Have an old junker to get rid of and am interested in buying new... think I've missed the boat though! Tnx

I have been hearing Renault adds mentioning scrappage.
Also a lot of ford ads on the radio. Try them maybe??

Ford are doing something called Swappage, think you get an extra €1500 on top of your trade in, terms & conditions ....etc

These so called scrappage deals being offered by dealers are dealer speak for cash or straight sale discount. If you walked in with no car to trade you will probably get the same deal on the new car.
