Vodafone's website does suffer alot of problems. Especially when you are out of credit and using a few webtexts until you top up. You encounter the whole 'we're sorry but something went wrong' crap.

I always chalk it up to over use on the website tho. I imagine so many teenagers do be using the free webtexts like fuck.

Yes it is the worst. It is a deliberate ploy by them to extort more money out of us!!!! Bastards.

Vodafone is bad but FAS is worse!

You'd think they'd advertise for a decent website developer.

I take it you've never been a Meteor customer?

Ha, this brings back memories. I was a Vodafone customer years and years ago and the website was shocking. Infuriating. Distressing. Disturbing.

Probably not as bad as the Apache Pizza website though.

Edit: Ahh! I remembered I complained about it in their Boards forum back in 2011... I was angry! http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2056418914/1#post74900143

Here's my post from October 2011:

I left Vodafone mobile over six months ago, so I haven't had a need to go onto the site. However, my parents pay for Vodafone at Home phone and broadband services, and they just asked me to see if I could log in to their account because it was "extremely slow" for them trying to log in.

So I tried it. Each webpage on the Vodafone website is taking an average of 5 minutes to load. I remember this being the case a year ago, and I remember complaining about it then too.

It is EXTREMELY frustrating. It is taking me 30 minutes just to carry out a few routine things like changing the password and checking the recent bills.

What on earth are you AT, Vodafone?!!!

    I can't believe you're still at this.

    Get a grip, Vodafone.

Never been near meteor. Heard the coverage was appalling

I've never had a bother with it :)

Yeah it is crap. One thing that annoys me is every time I log in they ask me to change my password to something stronger. The password is a random word followed by three random numbers. It's strong enough and you allowed me to set it up with that password so feck off!

Yep, it's a terrible website. Hard to believe for one of the biggest companies in the world!

Vodafone website is terrible. When in work if I had to text anyone I would send a web text, I couldn't be bothered anymore as the page barely loads!

but no it it is that bad, never works when you need it either.

the meteor site used to be a great one for going down to at random times, probably still does..

You guys haven't used ticketmaster to buy tickets so?

The process is so frustrating sometimes I change my mind about going to the thing I'm trying to buy tickets for.

Vodafone have known their website is a crock of sh1t for years now.

So it's clearly policy to leave it up, hobbled and semi-functional. I don't really understand why though - they can afford to get it right & it would certainly cut back on the need for customers to engage with agents directly.

The sheer shoddiness of it was one of the reasons I jumped ship to Tesco mobile tbh.

    I'm now on a 12 month contract & pay €10 p/m for 300 mins & 300 texts to any network + 1GB Data.

Really? I've bought tickets on ticketmaster dozens of times and never had a problem with it. What issues have you had with it?

Incredibly slow performance when selecting places. Its happened several times and haven't used it since the summer due to it.

It's up there alright. But at least you will eventually get what you want from the SEC website, even though you end up having to accept their terms and conditions 50 times and clicking on the Irish version of everything.

The Vodafone website just doesn't do anything for you, tells you to fuck off and try again in a few years..and it still won't work!
