I had just finished my work experience last week and I am in the process of updating my CV on the 'Work Experience' section.
    I currently have down.

Market Trading - with my dad had to do stuff like:
    • Served customers with high quality goods (clothing) and dealt with refunds and exchanges.
    • Dealt with customer queries and complaints.
    • Participated in regular stocktaking.
    • Improved use of store space and received customer praise by implementing modern merchandising techniques.

Harvey Norman - this is a must I am going to keep, because I done a very good job and I really enjoyed it.

Bank of Ireland - school bank we set up, I was customer service official had to take charge in things like
Interact with customers who visit the School Bank and provide an excellent customer service experience.
Responsible for taking lodgements, recording details and end of day balancing.
    Deal with customer complaints/issues.

Online Retailer self employed, I own an ebay account and a adverts.ie shop account in which I have been working on for the past 4 years, I cannot stress enough how much money and joy this had given me. I loved every bit of it and I am still at it.

So due to my CV only going to be 2 pages I can only put in 3 work experiences.
So which one should I put in apart from the Harvey Norman which is def going to be in and the online retailer, what 1 would you as an employer would like to see in general basis of any kind of work. The marketing or bank.

Its only fair you let your employer know you will be keeping the harvy Norman job and assure it won't interfere with your new position so that stays in.

Anything bank related stays in as it shows a good sense about you, plus you were a student at the time so it seems even more impressive. Stays in.

Family references on a CV in my opinion are a big no no. Shows that the person in question got a job because of the relationship with the boss/manager/owner and couldn't really be appraised of his or her work because of this. Drop it.

    Hope that helps

Just one more thing, I had forgotten.
Do the work experience go by the most recent first or most recent last.

Harvey Norman - [some words about what you did there .. blah blah blah to make up three lines]

Unless you're using an enormous font, then I really don't see how the above plus a few lines about your school and contact details is going to take more than a page!

No need to cut anything out.

But I would be careful how you phrase some bits.

Eg Market Trader - just call it "family retail business".
