Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Irish Water Safety vs NPLQ lifeguard certs

Hey guys, just wondering if there is a difference between the Irish Water Safety and the National Pool Lifeguard Qualifications as there is a substantial price difference (about 70euro) between them. Also the NPLQ takes an extra day to complete. Planning to work as a lifeguard over the Summer and was wondering which was better. Also does either qualify you to teach swimming?

    Thanks.

Don't think there is much of a difference maybe check with local pools to see if they accept both.

Swim coaching is a separate course
