DCR 6.5x47 Lapua

Collected my rifle off Dominic Byrne on Monday and to say I'm over the moon with it is an understatement! Every time I pull the trigger I end up smiling with the result! :cool: Spec is below.

Tikka T3 action, Krieger 28" 1 in 8 twist Remington varmint profile with heavy fluting, bedded in a Mcmillan A3-5, threaded M18x1 with thread protector and Trg muzzle brake, trigger job, dnz one piece mount, Vortex Viper Pst 6-24x56 and an Atlas bipod. He also cerakoted the action, barrel and bolt handle.

The rifle is shooting very well, here was my 1st 5 shot group today at 100 yards. It would have been under .3 moa until I fecked up the last shot! It was still under .5 moa though!



The rifle got first blood yesterday with a perfect head shot @ 250 yards on a wild goat. Had a great day out enjoying the shooting, scenery and my new rifle! :cool: Yano the way people say "he was dead before he hit the ground"... This fella didn't get to hit the ground!









Couldn't recommend the man enough, flawless work, top class service and a very fast turn around. Any future work of mine will be going to him and I would be steering others in his direction!
