Phone over power line adapter

    Anyone have any idea would poweline adapters used for sending ethernet though the houses phone lines work with a phone line? As in can i use ones used for ethernet, bang a phone cable in with a rj45 head and go? I know theres ones specific for phone out there too but don't really wanna buy them because I have the ethernet powerline adapters spare already.
