    Hi Folks

I have recently bought a new Raspberry Pi for the purpose of installing Raspbmc onto it ...media/network streaming of YouTube, RTE Player etc...

I find it to be very slow loading pages when connected over wifi, despite using a TP-LINK TL-WN821N 300Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter. My network is one the fibre optic Zytek router that Eircom provide.

My Macbook Pro, running similar media software (XBMC) on the same wifi network loads videos in a flash.

Has anybody else found this to be the case... slow wifi depite being close to a 802.11n 2.4 GHz network router. For example, about 4 or 5 mins waiting for a list of available podcasts to show up.

..are you sure it's not the pi. It's an arm 700mhz core. Its never going to be fast, but there are a few guides on how to oc them a little bit.
