Move to Dublin, food prices?

    Dear all,

I'm graduating this summer (international research masters student) and want to move closer to Dublin (say Blancharsdtown). I'm wondering what are the prices for food? Rent is okay, can see on daft. For example, here I can buy 2 litres of Dunnes milk for €1.49, Kerrygold butter (middle size) for €1.69, Mc'Closkey bread 800g for €2.49.

Are the food prices higher in areas close to Dublin such as Blancharsdtown?

Need to project living costs on my savings and estimate the time I could be there.
    Si

Food prices are fairly similar everywhere in Ireland. Just don't go doing your weekly shop in a Spar or Centra and you won't have any problems.

Eating out much cheaper in Dublin- especially in the city centre.

Groceries are the same price nationally in all the supermarkets.
