    Hi I just need advice.
I am putting money into said motor and to be fair I don't drive long distances with it. I was wondering is it a waste to be doing this, I have the car ten years and know I need to change it soon but I was looking at donedeal and what if I buy one that needs the same amount of work? I failed the nct on the fact that the brakes are nearly hitting the floor and there were various factors contributing to this: ball joint worn, master cylinder gone, brake pipe gone also. The suspension was also gone on one side.
I am a mature student nearly finished a degree so it's not like when I was working and didn't think so much about the cost of it. If I got another 10 months out of it I would be happy enough to be honest, but is this expecting too much.
