I'm in total agreement with you. The 80s and 90s were great decades for music, and when Nothing But 90s ended, I was sort of at a loss. I don't think I tuned in as much on a Friday night after it ended, but I listened to Friday Night Anthems, which was great. Then, Friday Night 90s began, and I love it.

At first, I was a little sceptical about two presenters doing it, as I felt that sort of show would work better with the one presenter. But, Shauna and Eoghan are doing great so far. Nice to hear Put 'Em Under Pressure earlier. It's not often at all that a radio station will play it :) I am still adjusting to the 10pm - 1am slot, rather than 11pm - 2am, so I've missed the first hour at least the last couple of weeks.

No doubt it's playing the bad stuff from the late 90s and not the better stuff from the other half of the 90s.

Listening to this show for first time tonight, dont see the fuss at all. Granted 90's music , is grand but the two hosts !!?? Ive heard them speak four times and they've said nothing , the girl just keeps giggling ... banter it isnt and why does it need two people? poor

I don't mind them at all. The show is grand, but the playlist is too repetitive. It seems that they play the same songs every week, but might throw in the odd one not played often. It's a shame really because there is so much stuff from that decade that can be played, but I don't know if the playlist is their choice, or they are just restricted to what can be played. When Tracy Lee did Nothing But 90s, she had a much wider playlist. For the last few weeks, I've ended up tuning in and out, rather than sticking with the show for the three hours, as a result of the repetitiveness.

Repetitiveness is a big problem - loads of the exact same songs are played every week and it's a bit ridiculous.

Also, I usually enjoy the show but last night's was awful. Far too much talk of Shave or Dye (I know it's a good campaign and raises lots of money, but it got a mention/discussion in every single link). It was literally the only thing they talked about for the entire show. If that carries on for the next few weeks, I definitely won't be tuning in.

I used to listen to Friday night 80's on the drive home a few years back and it was the same. You would think Prince, Madonna, and any other artist of that era had only released about 2 songs each for the entire decade.

Listened to the 90's show a little but can't really take the presenters too be honest.
