    Does anyone know if it is worth it to do a course on ALISON? People say the diploma might not be worth anything if it is not regonised by an actual college or university. But I would like to add more to my CV and I would hope it would show I have the skills at least.

    Quality, not quantity is what matters when it comes to qualifications.

    I review CVs regularly and skip over any qualifications that are not from an accredited institution.

    If you want my honest opinion, save your time and money for something more reputable.

    I never heard of them myself but I'd agree with Tom there. Have you checked out part time courses in 3rd level colleges? For instance AIT puts out a part time course prospectus each year and they seem to have quite a lot of affordable evening courses in a range of subjects.
