I got this from the vending machine today:

This is not from a mini party pack. It's a full size snicker.

    What the F...?

Is there any point in sending them an angry email?

By the way, not really sure where to post this.

Send it back with a letter, and do it in such a way that it's looks like it was written by a kid.
Guaranteed they'll send you a free box of them.

When I was a kid I bought a 4 pack of snickers, when I opened it there was only 3 inside the packet, decided to send it off with the 3bars to complain..Still waiting for a response 16yrs later

as with anything that is not what you expected - very simple - bring it back to the store it was purchased from and I'm sure they'll give you a replacement.

at the end of the day, its a tiny little error, that's all.

the place that the vending machine is in more than likely has a key and the contract would be with them. If not, (very unlikely) there would be a contact number on it. At the end of the day, its a little manufacturing error - not a rip-off and very easily rectified.

Just to point out that since the start of the year the actual "full size" bar is now not much bigger than what the OP received...

Current and two former employers with vending machines had no key and no access to the machine at all. Generally the supplier (Coca Cola Hellenic for Coke and a huge number of chocolate/snack machines) handle all customer service and refunds.

    Duo is 95.4g

    full size is now 48g,

so the duo is really 2 "full size" ones.

Lots have fallen below 50g, which I found out is the legal threshold below which they do not have to openly declare the weight on the packets. I think wispa & aero never used to declare the weight you could work it out using the calories per gram and calories per bar figures.

    Was 62g at one stage

When they did this, they spun it as being their effort to help curb the obesity crisis, making all their bars less than 250 calories.

Such rubbish. If I'm eating a Snickers, I want calories!
