Hi I'm thinking of buying a new set of Irons and I'm wondering if their is much difference between stiff or regular ? I'm a beginner golfer and my shots tend to go to the left. The irons are Taylormade irons. Any feedback is much appreciated.

It's impossible to say what you need. You need to get on a launch monitor and a pro will tell you what you need. I have a relatively slow swing speed (86/87mph) on my six iron and I have stiff shafts. My driver and three wood are x-stiff tho. A lot depends on weight of shaft. I think if you are a beginner you won't be far off with regular!

There is no industry standard for what is a stiff shaft so it is hard to say what you need. In general a beginner should start with a regular shaft unless you are hitting the ball hard.
