Naas Road Autos - My Experience

So, this is my experience with Naas Road Autos. I am not saying or advising anyone not to buy a car from Naas Road Autos or saying anything bad but this is my experience and I will let everyone decide for themselves.
I have bought 2005 Lexus GS300 from Naas Road Autos on 11th of January 2014. When talking to Andrew, who appears to be the owner, he has advised that the car is going to be fully serviced, valeted and that all the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensors) have been replaced and that the TPMS warning light on the dashboard will be removed by resetting the system.
As it was Saturday, we have agreed that I can take the car on the day and return it back on Tuesday for all the work to be done, as Andrew has advised that his Valeting guy is on Holidays.
Before I returned the car to Naas Road Autos I noticed the significant coolant leak and loud banging noise from the back of the car when the car is at the operating temperature while changing the gear from Reverse to Drive.
I have returned the car to Naas Road Autos advising of the issues stated above.
I got the car back after a week and I was advised that the following work has been done:
Full Service, New Water Pump and New Seal on the Differential.
I was also advised that the car needs to be brought to Lexus as the car needed new TPMS which can only be registered by Lexus. I have asked Andrew to advise why is it that the TPMS needs to be replaced if they are all new, on what he said he was mistaken and that the car needs the new sensor. As the appointment with Lexus is not for another week I was offered to take my car back and bring it to Naas Road Autos again the week after.
Once I left the garage and the car reached the operating temperature the same loud banging noise has returned. As the car was going back next week I decided to show this to Andrew in person.
Upon my arrival to Naas Road Autos, I have advised Andrew that the same banging noise is still existing on the car on which he said he will look into it again with Lexus and I was told I will get the car back in 3 working days.
3 working days after I rang Naas Road Autos to confirm my car is ready, when I was advised that the Lexus needed to two front TPMS’s replaced and that the car needs a new sensor on differential in order to fix the loud bang and that the car is going to be ready early next week as they need to wait for the sensor for differential.
So, the day has come for me to pick up my car. I asked Andrew what work has been done and I was advised that the 2 new TPMS’s have been replaced and that the system has been reprogramed. When I asked has the differential sensor been replaced Andrew has advised that he never told me that differential sensor needs to be replaced but that the differential sensor needs to be re-set. When I asked why I was told that the car needs to be left with Naas Road Autos for additional 3-5 days in order to get a new differential sensor Andrew advised that he was mistaken and that it had to be miscommunication. The reason the car was there is so they can ensure the sensors are working properly.
So, two months after I picked up a car my TPMS light came back on one morning before I even left my driveway.
As I was advised that the Naas Road Autos has done all the work on the TPMS I took the car to independent garage for check. Result was inconclusive. The front left tyre didn’t had TPMS. It was taken out by Naas Road Autos or it was never there in the first place.
I have rang Andrew immediately and told him what has happened and he told me to send him an email as he will bring the car back to Lexus. In meantime he advised that he had a look at the invoice from Lexus and he stated that last time Lexus has checked and re-set the TPMS system. When I told him that he has advised that two new sensors where put on the car he said…He was mistaken and that they were never replaced. He agreed to take the car back and bring it back to Lexus.
Upon my arrival to Naas Road Autos we went through whole story again and then Andrew asked me if the tyre was taken off the car. I advised him that the tyre was indeed taken off as the diagnostic wasn’t getting any signal from the TPMS. On what Andrew said that the Lexus will not take any responsibility because the tyre was taken off. (Fair Point)
I have then stated that regardless of wheatear the Lexus will or will not take the car back for repair the fact of the matter is I am being told from day one that the car got all new TPMS’s, then I was told that front two are replaced and then Andrew openly admitted that they were never replaced! To make things worse I am being advised by independent garage that there is no TPMS in one of the tyres at all. The bottom line is I was being lied to since the day one. On what Andrew said: Prove it!!!
I have left the garage in calm fashion and now I’m left with a hefty bill in order to replace/fix something I was advised it was done before I even bought the car. I am however looking into both private and criminal claim with family solicitor and I have registered the case with National Consumer Agency.
But this is not my only problem I had with Naas Road Autos. I bought the car on 11th of January 2014. The log book came to my address with date stating that the car was bought in December 2013. I have notified Andrew in Naas Road Autos of this mistake. Andrew has advised he was mistaken, once again, and he will contact the Motor Tax in order to fix the issues which he did. I got a new log book in the post a week after but there were additional owners on the log book. I don’t know how Andrew resolved this but I went from being 5th owner to being 7th owner of the car. I have notified Andrew of this issues and once again he advised he was mistaken and advised he will fix the issue which he never did.
