Hi Am trying to find out rebuild cost for a Farm Shed for insurance . Shed very basic ,is Rectangle in shape with a round Corrugated Roof. Walls are about 8 foot high and 122 Sqm in size. There are also 3 internal walls dividing the shed into 3 separate smaller sheds and there are also 6 timber doors , two doors for each…

Shed is about 30 years old with no underground slurry pit or anything like that .

Are there any sites out there on how I would calculate the rebuild cost of the shed in a similar way to costing for a Dwelling house.

Get a quote for a hayshed roof from a metal supplier. Get a quote from a builder for the block-work. If floor is concrete remember to include it. Add at least 10%, perhaps 20%, for demolition and removal of old shed. (should it be destroyed by storm, fire etc.)
