Does anyone have any recommendations of any good hotels in Paris? Either close to the sites or close to disneyland. Will be going for a few days mid week.

Try the Pax Hotel near Opera. Stayed there around five years ago and it was very reasonable for Paris anyway. Not sure what current rates are like. Its a short trip on the metro to the main sites.

I stayed in this hotel when i was in paris 2 years ago. It cost 60 quid a night and i couldn't fault it.
Staff were lovely and rooms, while basic were perfect and most important of all, clean.

While its not close to sites being in the 15 arrondissement, is anywhere in Paris?
If you stay in Marais, you're miles away from the Champs Elysees and the eiffel tower. Its not like dublin where you can walk from the remnants of the city walls to Henrietta st in 10 mins.
The most important thing when finding somewhere to stay in Paris is thats its near a metro. From there you'll get around to anywhere.

We used to get the metro daily from Convention and that would have us on the champs Elysees in 10-15 mins. Metro was 10 mins walk from the hotel, but wed get breakfast along the way. .

Another option could be airbnb. I was in Paris last year as well (its my favourite city) and used airbnb as the above hotel was booked out. Couldn't fault it.

If you're coming at the start of the week and staying for more than a few days, this saved us a fortune, as we had CDG x2, versailles return and Disneyland return

We stayed in Hotel Agora Paris st Germain, it was excellent location could walk everywhere. This was only a few weeks ago so if you need to know anything just ask. You might get a deal on it as we did but the area is the best spot to be in
