    Hi

I am wondering if I need to wear a formal suit to a teaching (post-primary) interview or would a smart dress with cardigan suffice.

    Thanks.

I imagine a nice shirt with a cardigan and trousers would be fine.

Smart dress and cardigan would be perfect.

I would dress formally and opt for the suit. Save the dress and cardi combo for when you get the job.You should do all you can to project a professional image of yourself in the interview.

I agree. Always dress a step above what you would wear if you got the job. Good luck with the interview.

Same here - formal attire is best.
