Hi guys,

I seem to remember finding a live tracking map for a cat 5 cyclone that hit Queensland a couple of years ago but can't find it now.

I'd like to keep an eye on this one - but I don't see the map I was thinking of on the bom.com.au site.

Anyone know one I could keep an eye on? Storm is due to cross land somewhere ca 7pm local tomorrow, so around 10 tomorrow morning...

Cat 5 around landfall, amazed there isnt much in the news about this. Looks a very serious storm.

Seems to have come across cat4 but is also now forecast to be tracking along the coast which I don't think was on the original forecast. Also seems to have come in pretty much around Cooktown.

Actually correction, ABC Far North Queensland's twitter feed seems to suggest it hasn't come across just yet, still off the coast. Winds are costing over 150kph on the coast atm though.
