I am looking at two cars both same year and price. One is a Zetech model with 120km

other is LX model with 85km

What would be the better option of these two cars?

Zetec is higher spec than LX. 2.0 litre is better than 1.8 litre imo. Which one is in the best condition. Also have you looked at any others, why only chose between two when there are lots of Mondeos for sale?

    Thanks,

Lots for sale but have narrowed it down to these two. Just wondering on peoples thoughts on lx with lower mileage v zetec with higher mileage

How old are both cars? Are they petrol or diesel? Don't reduce yourself to the Lx spec!

I bought a Mondeo on Monday. Zetec 1.8d. I had decided on a 2.0d and had actually told my guy to get me a 2.0. But then he came to me with an immaculate Zetec import that had a bullet proof service history. The 2.0d is quicker, but, that is not to say that the 1.8 is slow - far from it. It is 125bhp. The 2.0d is 140bhp. You will also have higher road tax. So far, I'm getting 46mpg. The Zetec also has bluetooth, cruise control, electrics all-round and those cool 5spoke xy alloys.

I would be more interested in service history more so than what is on the odometer.

Also, the LX trim is dire.

    Well wear man!
Just note op, bluetooth isn't necessarily standard if that bothers you. There is the option of the 16 spoke wheels aswell, but I prefer the 5 y-spoke myself.

I thought they were 5 spoke xy alloys. For the life of me, I have no idea where I got the xy from? :pac: They look lovely....

    Cheers BTW.
