Braces & Possible Jaw Surgery

    Hi All,

I need some professional advise. I'm 22 and I am getting to the point where I'm worried about my teeth. I recently had to pull 2 out aswel as a number of fillings and I think at the rate I'm going I will have dentures by 30

I had a routine check up with a fancy dentist in Dub recently (my normal dentist is in Tullamore) and she mentioned I may need jaw surgery as my bottom teeth are in-front of my top teeth. I never even noticed this before she said it and now its all I can think about. I must have a huge jaw line and look like a freek from the side.

I am also concerned about my bottom teeth which are moderately bent in places. I think I will need braces but I am wondering If i should get the surgery first or after the braces.

Also, does anyone have experience with surgery+braces.....whats a ball park figure, am I looking at thousands or tens of thousands??
