Got email stating that due to large volume of applications I would hear from them in June. Fingers crossed.

Ya i'm in the same boat, the initial email said interviews are May/June, was starting to think just didn't get an interview, at least now there is still a chance of getting an email.

I emailed IrishRail last week about when candidates will get feedback they said early June as there has been a high volume of applicants and once reviewing all applicants is complete , candidates will be notified

Got the same mail, it definitely seems less likely that they will be taking on as apprentices as suggested in previous posts. Hopefully the situation will be resolved by Late August.

I can tell you for certain from working as a contractor for IR for years.

All those positions will be sewn up before the interview process has even began.

They are very family oriented and those who have a father or uncle may be in with a chance.

The rest will be just going through the motions.
