    Hi everyone:o,

I'm moving to northern Ireland from the south of Ireland and I will be getting a northern car and I was just wondering can I keep my southern licence or will I have to change my licence?

This question is probably best asked in Motors, rather than State benefits. General opinion is that in the EU is that you do not have exchange an EU licence. However, if you subsequently visit the south with the NI car and are stopped by customs, you will have a lot of explaining to do if you produce a ROI licence.
